     We are grateful to George who both created the website and has been managing it for 5

     years. He now feels the time is right to pass it on to someone else. Does anyone have

    the required skills to continue this important part of the witness of our church?


2. Prayer Chain If you have any requests for prayers, please contact Charlotte
    Lewis (342 8193) or Sue Fletcher (342 5073).


3. Church Flowers - The flowers today are provided by Mrs E Boast and arranged by
                                         Paula Tatler.

4. Claire House Charity Shop – The Heswall shop on Milner Road needs volunteers
     Please contact Margaret Moore 648 6173 or Sue 342 6224 if you can help.

5. Freewill Offering Envelopes covering the next 12 months are now available and should be

    collected from the relevant pigeon holes in the corridor by all members who currently make

    use of them. Other members who may wish to commence using this method of making their

    weekly offerings should contact the F.W.O. Treasurer, Alan Affleck, either in the coffee lounge

    after the service or by telephone 342 1885.
    Any member who pays income tax at the standard rate and would like to increase his/he

    contributions   to church funds without any additional personal expense may wish to

    contribute under the Gift Aid Scheme; forms to facilitate this may also be obtained from Alan.

6. Wirral Coastal Walk – Jean McCartney is walking the 15 miles on 18 May for Claire House.

     Jean will  have her sponsorship card in the hall after the service.

7. “Cargo” the musical celebrating the abolition of slavery, to be presented by

      Churches Together in Heswall on Thursday 8 May 7.30pm.

8. Spiritual Conversation Groups.
     Next week we are going to start three groups, on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and

     Thursday  evenings. Details are on the notice board by room 2. Please sign up if you would

     like to attend the “taster” meetings.

9. “Our Church.” Gwynfor is going to start a new series of which can be a preparation for

       membership, but will also be of interest to people who want to know more about the

       origins and direction of our church.

10.  Round Dozen.
       Will meet at Flat 1, Dale Court, Heswall on Saturday10th May. 342 1885.

11.  Two Cathedrals Service - 11 May. Starts 3.00pm at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral,

        a procession along Hope Street and ends at 4.30 at the Anglican Cathedral
