Psalms 110, 111, 112
Numbers 23 : 13 – end
Luke 8 : 16 - 25
Psalm 98
“You will be a priest for ever,
in the priestly order of Melchizedek.”
Lord Jesus,
You are our Great High Priest,
for ever seated at the right hand of the Father.
Close to the heart of God,
there is a sympathy and understanding
for our understanding.
With that assurance,
we can approach You in prayer.
Numbers 23 : 13 – end
Lord,
You have promised to bless Your people,
and that promise will not be withdrawn.
“God is not like men who lie;
He is not a human whop changes his mind.”
No dark powers can overcome them.
Let me live today in this confidence.
Luke 8 : 16 - 25
Lord Jesus,
could You still the storm?
My head says “no.”
It defies logic.
It is impossible.
But my heart says “yes.”
In You made flesh is the God
by whose power the mountains were formed,
who shaped the valleys and the seas.
It was You who gave birth to the storm.
Could You not also silence it?
